How do I make a booking at The Nest?

How many people can sleep at The Nest?
The Nest can cater for up to four people, two in a bedroom with a King Size bed and the other two people on bed settees that are in the Library room. The bed settees are both sized ‘small double’ which is larger than a single bed, but not as big as a double bed.
What are the amenities at The Nest?
The Nest is a self-contained unit with stunning countryside views! It has a very well equipped open plan kitchen and dining area (that can sit up to six people), a wet room bathroom, one bedroom with a King Size bed and great storage, and a large comfortable Library room with a wonderful selection of books, games, crafts, telescope, satellite smart TV and the facility to sleep two other people on 2 x small double sized bed settees. There is a very large outdoor area with outdoor seating and comprises of a big garden, woodland area and running stream.
Where is The Nest located?
The Nest is situated near the villages of Puckane & Ballycommon and is a five minute drive from the lakeside village of Dromineer, Co. Tipperary – the eircode is E45 H284.
Does The Nest have WIFI?
Yes, The Nest has free high-speed WIFI.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in starts at 3 PM, and check-out is by 11 AM to prepare for incoming guests.
Are dogs allowed at The Nest?
Yes, we welcome well-behaved dogs; please discuss with us in advance of your booking.

What is the nightly rate at The Nest?
The rate is 150 euro per night for two people and 100 euro per individual during the October to March season. From April to September, the nightly rate is 180 euro and 100 euro per individual. Children age 7 and under are welcome to stay at the Nest free of charge.
Are there extra charges for guests sharing a room?
Yes, an additional 40 euro per person (over age 7) applies throughout the year for a maximum of two people staying in the Library room where there are two comfortable small double sized bed settees.
Is there a minimum stay requirement?
Yes, a minimum stay of two nights is typically required for all bookings, however a one night stay may be available on request.
Is there a maximum stay limit?
We can offer special weekly rate at The Nest, for longer stays please feel free to get in touch to discuss.
What additional services are available?
We offer laundry services at 20 euro per load, eBike rentals for 20 euro, and a guided eBike tours at 50 euro per person.
Are there shops nearby to purchase supplies during our stay?
Yes, there are two local shops within a few minutes drive, Kennedy’s shop in our local village Puckane will provide you will all of the essentials, Tony’s Tipp Top Shop in Ballycommon also stocks the essentials alongside artisan cooked products such as sourdough bread, cakes and more! There are also a number of supermarkets in Nenagh (see below).
Where is the nearest town?
The historic town of Nenagh is a 10 minute drive from The Nest where you will find a large array of shopping options alongside bars & restaurants.
Is there good motorway access?
Yes, the Nest is a fifteen minute drive to the M7 motorway connecting Limerick to Dublin.
What parts of Ireland are accessible as a day trip from The Nest?
It is possible to enjoy day trips to Limerick, Cork, Dublin, Kilkenny and Galway from The Nest. For more information see here.
